Domains: Buy & Configurate DNS in one place
Why we built it 🧐
Section titled “Why we built it 🧐”Connecting a custom domain used to require:
- Buying the domain from a third-party registrar (GoDaddy, Namecheap…).
- Knowing your way around DNS records (A, CNAME, @, www).
- Manually pasting records into the registrar’s dashboard.
That workflow slowed launches, caused errors, and forced you to juggle multiple dashboards.
What’s new 🚀
Section titled “What’s new 🚀”| Step | Old Way | New Way (Domain Reselling) |
|---|---|---|
| Purchase | External registrar | Inside LightFunnels search & checkout |
| DNS setup | Manual A / CNAME records | Automatic record creation |
| Management | Registrar + LightFunnels | One dashboard for the full lifecycle |
How it works

Section titled “1. Search & buy”- Go to Settings → Domains and click Buy new domain.
- Type your desired name under Search for a domain and click Search.
- The results show each domain’s status (Available, Premium or Unavailable), its Purchase Price (first year) and Renewal Price (the years after that). Similar domains are suggested too.
- Click Buy next to an available domain, then confirm with Purchase.
Domain purchases are non-refundable and are charged to your account immediately.
2. Auto-connect
Section titled “2. Auto-connect”- As soon as payment is confirmed, LightFunnels creates the required DNS records for you.

shop.mylightfunnels.com. - DNS Records – click Add custom record, choose the Type (A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT or NS), fill in Host, Value and TTL, then click + Add record. You can also delete existing records from the list.
4. Renew

5. Delete
Section titled “5. Delete”At the bottom of Manage domain DNS, use Delete this domain to remove it. Once you delete a domain, there is no going back.
